We completed our study of Chapter 1 today and scheduled our Chapter 1 test for Monday. Then we also took the scheduled Safety Quiz.

Among other things we worked on how to convert a quantity in one unit into different units. For example, one might want to know what 1500 miles is in kilometers. Our method for doing this is called Know, Find, Solve (KFS). We converted several quantities from one unit of measurement into another.

Safety was the main topic of the day. You need to know where all the safety equipment in our room is stored and what it is to be used for.

You all ran discussions about Aristotle's thoughts on learning today. All in all it you did a nice job getting everyone involved in figuring out what Aristotle was saying and what you thought about it.
