Chapter 16 Objectives
Order of reading in Chapters 16 and 17
We will first consider electric forces, electric charge, the strength of an electric field, and electric potential energy in a uniform electric field. Then we will consider the special and important case of electric fields produced by electrically charged particles, the so-called inverse-square-law field. Finally we take a look at a very important component of electric circuits, namely, capacitors. That's the reason for the following arrangement of our course of study.
